Instead of telling yourself all the reasons why you can’t…
Things just get so much easier.
If you continue to focus your energy on your problems and why you can’t achieve something that is exactly where your energy and focus will remain.
I was speaking to a client in our program this morning and she was telling Mel and I every reason why she couldn’t plan ahead and prep her food.
I run a business…
I have 5 kids…
It doesn’t fit into my lifestyle..
So asked her about her business and do the plan jobs? She said of course Kitty or it would be a mess if we didn’t….
I went back to her 90 day goal form and we reviewed why it was important she achieve what she wanted to achieve….she had said she was miserable and exhausted and unhappy in her skin…
So I asked her….if nothing changes how will anything change?
So instead of focusing on how busy she was and how many kids she had and the business she has to run we focused on how she could make things work to fit into her schedule….how she could simplify things and make it easier for herself….
So she has committed to planning one day and prepping food for a week and sticking to that and she will report back in a weeks time.
You always have time…..when you make excuses what you are saying is that it’s not a priority right now…
There are ways you can make things easier and simplify..
Like getting 1 or 2 slow cookers and making something super easy like this each week and freezing it.
Stocking your fridge with easy snacks like milk, cheese, fruit, eggs, good quality sourdough bread, dates and OJ.
And remember if nothing changes nothing changes. When you put good food into your body, you sleep well, your hormones are in balance, you feel good in your skin and food no longer rules you……everything else will fall into place and you will be able to cope much better when the shit hits the fan.
So if your making excuses, stop now….take action, go and spend $20 on a slow cooker and start by making one meal a week for yourself 🙂 starting with this yummy Italian chicken!
