living in the U.S I think it’s impossible not to spend about ten dollars for one breakfast which is why I thought it’d be interesting to show you guys how much I actually spend on breakfast when living in Italy my little breakfast pizza was a dollar and sixty cents and my cappuccino was only one dollar and thirty cents totaling in about three dollars for one breakfast

  1. If it's way cheaper to be in Italy then send me packing to there and never come back to the expensive states again

  2. Lucky omg😭 Just cooking at home costs me at least $8 per meal (due to required dietary restrictions)

  3. What is that pizza I've never seen anything like that in 23 years of being in Italy, mayonnaise and hard boiled eggs on a pizzetta?

  4. Depending on where you go in the US, you can definitely get a pastry and a coffee for close to 3 bucks. A $10 breakfast includes actual food, along with a drink and a side. So, this video is kinda misleading
Edited to add : In the US

  5. $4.50 is the minimum for a small hot chocolate in Australia…coffee just goes up and if you want a milk shake type drink you're looking at around $8.

  6. $10 for breakfast? Excuse me? I guess some people have never been poor eking out a box of cereal for a week or a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter. That’s the low end. For a little more you can have something nutritious and satisfying but you have to make it yourself at home. You’re wasting your money if you’re spending $10 on breakfast. I do get it though if you want to have a nice brunch one day a week, but please don’t spend that everyday.

  7. Italy everyday so every single weekday they can't get to 2:00 p.m. without two release packages from the US so I don't know what you're talking about and it's GDP has to go down that way that's the only way and it's triple the price of the US for breakfast and lunch

  8. What the heck is on that breakfast pizza?!? It looks like sauce with boiled egg and decorative frosting 🤮

  9. How much would it have cost to eat breakfast at home?
The only time I eat out is when I don't have a choice! I eat breakfast at home and take packed lunch to work. This can be leftovers of a dinner or something I made during weekend and froze in a microwave proof lunch box (just in case I forget to take one out to defrost the night before) and sometimes I make an ad hoc packed lunch the night before or on the same day. I eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and save $$ every week compared to eating in a cafe or buying a takeaway.

  10. This is why I can't fathom having breakfast out on a regular basis. It's just too much money. I'll make my coffee, eggs, and toast at home.

  11. I tried ordering breakfast from McDonald’s literally the big breakfast plate and I wanted it delivered as a little treat for myself but when I go to the total it’s literally 28 dollars for one fucking thing 🙂 I love America

  12. What part of the US are you getting breakfast for $10? The dishes where I am in Southern California are at best $16. Most places near me are $20 😣

  13. maybe a bit cheaper in Germany but on the other hand electricity costs 75 cents per kwh while in the US it's like 16 cents, heating costs me 500 per month and gasoline is like 8,50 per gallon and will never be cheaper again because this green extremist government wants to force us to be "MoRe EnViRoNmEnTaLlY fRiEnDlY", making us piss poor is the solution for that

  14. But it could be harder to make 1 euro in Italy than it is to make a dollar here, hence the “cheapness” when converted to American dollars. You can’t just change a currency and say it’s cheaper there without knowing how much work it is for that money.

  15. The average salary in Italy is much lower than the US. Food, healthcare, higher education tends to be cheaper in EU but gas, cars, and property/land is cheaper in the US
