What’s in my fridge as a naturopathic doctor? First, we have organic green olives from Italy – a great source of fats. I choose these foods. Mayo made with avocado oil is the only mayo I use. It’s organic and has no calories. There are also organic mustard jars; I love it because it literally has zero calories. Next, we have organic pumpkin seeds – a fantastic addition to salads as they provide fiber, fat, and protein. Organic hemp hearts are another great source of protein, fat, and fiber. Walnuts are also present in the fridge; they’re an excellent source of fats and great for brain health. Pasture-raised organic eggs are a fantastic source of protein, healthy fats, and choline for brain function. I’m currently marinating some chicken breasts for the barbecue later – gotta have good grass-fed beef jerky as it’s an excellent source of protein for quick snacks. Lastly, there are lemon slices in here that I use to add a nice scent to my dishes after putting them through the dishwasher. There is also ketchup made with agave instead of cane sugar. And finally, some supplements including liposomal glutathione for immune system support.

  1. My toxic trait is having a lot of this in my fridge but having my dominos pizza & icecream days

  2. I eat the same pumpkin seeds, walnuts, oatmeal that you eat. I don't eat meat, poultry or fish. I also use "Chosen" products

  3. Correction:
Agave is about as bad as sugar in your Ketsup.
    Instead simply buy unsweetened ketsup.
Or simply eat some fresh tomatoe in place of ketsup.

  4. Your mayo has avocado oil you should throw that out. Seed oils are poison. Just make your own mayo with olive oil takes 3 minutes to make

  5. Agave nectar can have health risks, including: Fructose: Agave nectar is made up of over 84% fructose, which is more than table sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Fructose has been linked to health problems like diabetes, obesity, fatty liver, and memory loss. Agave nectar's high fructose content can also reduce insulin sensitivity and worsen liver health.
Calories: Agave nectar is higher in calories than table sugar.
Bloating: Some people have trouble absorbing fructose, which can cause bloating or abdominal discomfort.

  6. The mayo I would like to try. In NY it's like $10 for that size. Ketchup is my krytonite. I use organic but love it😊
    Thanks Doc.❤

  8. My entire adulthood has practiced this same way in regards to food…. Always paying a premium. … And yet I'm now autoimmune, migraine sufferer, gut microbiome issues and high glucose and insulin… Why? … Because even health packaged foods have hidden sugars.

We are not safe from anything anymore. The only way to heal and truly be healthy is to farm your own veggies or buy local veggies from healthy soil and eat nothing from a package (outside of maybe the nuts and seeds — and obviously your proteins. )

Agave is WAY worse than cane sugar! — actual poison. Read every label.. and just because it's "healthy" or "organic" …or found in the ultra granola muncher aisle… Does not make it the best foods for whole body health.

  9. I heard agave is hard on the liver and spikes glucose more than regular sugar? Primal kitchen has a good sugar free ketchup that's not sweetened with agave

  10. Those cheap high production organic eggs are from the lowest shelf and actually are still feed crap. Pasture raised organic is my choice from a small farm

  11. Eat anything you want in moderation. People think you have to spend a lot of money to live healthy. I eat anything i want but i also do intermittent fasting , balanced diet and drink a lot of herbal/ green teas .
