you guys guess who was spreading her Unholy Aura in one of the holiest countries in the world that’s right your girl the Antichrist went to Italy a few different cities but the first stop would be Verena to be more specific if you’re a returning cult member yes they let me into the country and if you’re a newcomer and you’re a little bit confused the thing is like my father is Satan and I also like came out of his womb typically I do have my favorite upset on cross necklace or my little pentagram necklace to signify that not today but that’s the ongoing gag of this Channel and of haunted hippie if you don’t know me then maybe you know her I talk about horror movies over there yeah today I’ve got to tell you guys all about Verena Verena is one of the tiny little cities up in Lake KO in Northern Italy it is probably the most beautiful place on Earth that I have ever been to but before we get into the nice relaxing b-roll and all of that click subscribe if this kind of thing interests you if not and you follow me more for the horror movie stuff then that’s fine if this is your first time on this channel then I do mostly post about physical media content for example my last video was going to the biggest physical media shop in London so I kind of combined the vlogging and the physical media of it all it also greatly helps to click the like button and the notification Bell that way you never miss the next video yes by subscribing you do devote your soul to me but everyone is pretty chill with that so I think that you could be too I do have an insane story to share from this trip but that’ll have to wait until after I acquaint you with this gorgeous Lakeside town I will see you in a minute [Music] a [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] w [Music] [Music] Verena but before I can get into anything that we actually did there I have to tell you the hell that my boyfriend went went through to get there dear Scott oh bless him his first flight out of LAX to Frankfurt was delayed by only 45 minutes but this meant that by the time he got to Frankfurt I think he only had like 50 minutes or something to transfer flights so he ran through the airport he got there with like only 20 minutes till the flight took off so he ran for a mile through the airport because it’s huge and he missed that flight naturally so then he got out to the next flight to Milan and he thought that he had landed there because he missed the announcement over the loudspeaker cuz he was like weing his airpods or something he thought that he landed in Milan but it turns out that they were back in Frankfurt so I don’t know how far they made it they must have made it like a third of the way there or something but there was something wrong with the plane so they turned all the way back around to Frankfurt mind you I was already upset because he was going to be delayed getting all the way up to Lake KO he was supposed to be there by like 8:00 p.m. getting a train out of Milan so at this point it’s about 8:00 p.m. and they don’t get him out until the last flight of the day at 1:00 p.m. from Frankfurt to Milan that one ends up also being delayed by like 30 minutes luckily no problems with the plane he gets to Milan and it is already about midnight just one and there were no more trains out of Milan to Lake KO so then he has to wait like 20 to 30 minutes to get his bag out of baggage claim and then it’s not until like 1:15 in the morning that he finally finds an Uber to take him all the way to Lake Como mind you this Uber had have cost a couple hundred given the time of night and the weather the lack of Uber drivers out the distance like terrible trip it was dumping rain like it was very much not a safe condition to be driving all the way up to Como nonetheless they do it but once they get to Como so they’ve taken the whole trip from Milan they’re up in Ko there’s a roadblock that they can’t get past Scott is trying to call me but by this point once I knew that he was seated in the Uber I finally went to bed at like 1:30 and I was just like call me when you get here and I’ll let you in I thought that I could rest but because I had a UK SIM card put into my phone I didn’t realize that when he would try to call me it wouldn’t work because we had facetimed and stuff like since I had put the different SIM card in my phone so I I don’t know why but none of that was working so he’s at this roadblock and the Uber driver you know doesn’t speak great English but bless her she’s trying to like call hotels for him for him to stay in but they’re all completely booked So eventually she just ends up driving around the barrier like I don’t know if they like push it into it or whatever and just ends up driving you know the extra whatever 10 miles to get to our Airbnb I have no idea why the road was closed Big Ups to this Uber driver because she delivered my man to me but about 3:00 in the morning he is knocking on our Airbnb door and it scares the hell out of me cuz it wakes me up but he made it he made it like 7 hours later than he was supposed to and burned through a lot more money and energy than he really should have the poor guy but he made it yay and we didn’t even really lose a day like we just kind of of lost that night and then as you saw I mean we just the first two days were just like basking in the beauty of everything being by the lak side and trying to make friends with the birds was really fun tddy oh my goodness Look Who’s saying hi he wants to bark at things outside the window but you can’t do that right now he’s like no I must do my job you guys we might have a cat in the mix too look who it is ISRO I’m going to go out on a limb here and I’m going to say that day two in Verena was one of the best days of my entire life if not the best day of my life we rented a boat and it is probably one of the top things that I recommend to do there beforehand we went and we picked up some local sandwiches to try out from the shops we picked up some really delicious lemon and orange Italian sodas to try and then I also picked us up a bunch of fruit cuz I go crazy for eating some fruit in Europe I really do that is how I choose to live my best life and I feel you can tell we just couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather we got to see the James Bond shooting location the Star Wars shooting location this is editing Kylie hey I realized I didn’t really explain to you what Villa del balbianello is but it’s the shooting location of several different movies including Star Wars Episode 2 attack of the Clones it’s where the famous kissing scene between Anakin Skywalker and Padme is also a James Bond movie Casino Royale was shot there those are probably the most well-known movies that were shot there of course I took some pictures outside of it I took a lot of videos such a fantastic gorgeous location I want to get married there we did didn’t get to like go out and actually look at it it was also like several Towns over around the lake so we just didn’t end up having time to do that I would love to do that next time I go oh I don’t know when I’ll get to go back there it’s probably going to be like at least 20 years it’s a spinny Place took the boat out for 3 hours did like this perfect little Loop saw a lot of the sites along the lake and then after that we took the hike up to Castello deeso I think is what it’s called it’s the castle it’s the old castle that’s up at the top of this hill people online described the hike up there as grueling and I feel like for maybe the average person that’s like out of shape it would be quite grueling that’s not the word that I would use to describe I think my boyfriend and I only took maybe like 25 30 minutes to get up there we took a few breaks to like catch our breath it is really steep but like if you’re any type of fit like you’ll be fine the online forums were like really dramatic about that and that was equally gorgeous oh my God I had to put these Spooky Little ukis in the thumbnail because I love them so much when I posted for my relatives on Facebook I was like uh found a new boyfriend yeah so day two was just it was the perfect day it was also where we tried I think my favorite restaurant of the entire trip which of course I never remember the names of the restaurants that I go to but I’ll put that up on screen highly recommend and I am not being dramatic or exaggerative at all when I say that it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my entire life I’m not a super big fan of the way that they cook Meats in Italy I had the lamb chops there but the dessert we had I mean everything else the pasta was just it was perfect so yeah I that might have been the most perfect day of my my 25- year existence I’m not sure believe it or not we weren’t done yet though so let me take a little break from talking and let’s watch day three and four [Music] a [Music] a a [Music] a [Music] a [Music] oh [Music] he [Music] hello again H unfortunately that is the last of the footage that I have to show from the trip well I mean I’ll play more like as I’m talking obviously but yeah that was Verena day three was incredible we took two really easy days after our big day like out on the lake and doing the big hike day three we did a wine tasting and I will put all the information for the Airbnb experience that we did the people were really friendly we just so happened to be doing the wine tasting with two women that were from Ohio well one of them actually she’s from Germany now because she married a German guy so they go to Lake Como every year apparently it’s sort of like how a lot of Californians go to like Tahoe every year but for Germans they have like Como like it’s just it’s not fair their wines were delicious we actually picked up one of the bottles that they had produced and there were only 500 of them in existence so we got one of those and we got little little crazy Tipsy whipsy on the next night drinking it delicious wine it was fantastic we also got I think one of the Cabernet we checked out a few of the churches in the area and whenever I see Italian churches it always scares me a little bit they just have such an intense vibe to them a lot of them are also very Gothic which I love that but they truly are like really scary places to be in all of the depictions of Jesus Christ on the crucifix like they’re so graphic and yet Catholics have the nerve to like police what is decent you know you know what I mean anyways on our last day in Lake Como we did take the fery over to Bellagio and that was a nice little city I I’m really glad that we ended up staying in Verena cuz I did like Verena a bit better but bagio has a lot of good shopping if you’re rather Posh we ate lunch outside of this place that made hand painted wine bottles and they were so gorgeous that was one thing that I really really wish I could have taken home there was also this like woodwork shop and I don’t think I took any pictures in there but I wanted so much of the stuff I was like oh if I had a house I would buy all of this stuff and I would FedEx it back to myself but that was off the table in both my housing and financial condition so we just looked we just looked luckily there’s nothing really crazy to tell from day three and day four we did have a hell of a time getting to Venice after being in Verena but that will be a story for my next Vlog Venice was pretty wild it was a really good time but the whole train situation getting there I listen you will just have to tune in for that one cuz that’s going to do it for today Verena Qui became probably my favorite city in Italy at least my favorite one as a tourist destination because I don’t like really touristy places and it is pretty touristy a little bit more than I would like actually a lot more than I would like it was really crowded during the daytime when like the fairies would come over and just the daytime tourists would be there SP her little face is in the corner but in terms of just the scenery and the food and everything Bim we also tried out the other top recommended restaurant in the area and again I will put it up on screen I have to ask Scott what the names were this place yet again I thought that the pasta could not have been more perfect but I did not like the meat I had the salmon and they just either make their meat really really dry or way way too salty with the lamb chops I felt like I was eating a salt lick you know those things that horses have in their pastur that they like lick cuz they like salt I felt like I was eating one of those and then with the salmon it just was so dry and it was so sad cuz it’s one of my favorite fish everything else was perfect though I would just I would just recommend sticking to the pasta more Tales of us trying to communicate with Italians that didn’t speak English and having Havoc with our trains to come that’s going to do it for today I hope that you enjoyed this Vlog of Verena if you are going I hope that you got some good tips I don’t really have anything like crazy anything groundbreaking to let you know but I do highly recommend everything that we did on our trip we had like the perfect like 4 days honestly we probably could have just stayed there for three if you’re on more of a budget like you could definitely just do 2 or 3 days there but we really enjoyed having our more relaxing days too I thought that 4 days was like the perfect amount if you didn’t really get any groundbreaking
