Indian style pasta prepared with penne pasta and spices to suit the Indian taste buds. This recipe is prepared without cheese as compared to the traditional Italian pasta.
This is basically a fusion between two popular cuisines, that is, Indian and Italian cuisine. This is an ideal lunch box or breakfast recipe.
Since I have used penne pasta made of wheat flour and white rava, you can enjoy this as a cheat meal if you are on a weight loss diet.
To blanch tomatoes:
Add 5 fully ripe tomatoes in 2 cups of water and boil on high flame for 5 minutes. Remove the skin. Let it cool completely and grind it.
White Sauce:
Milk- 1 Cup
Corn Flour- 1 tbsp
Green Chilli- 1
Pink Himalayan Salt- 1/4th tsp
To Cook Penne Pasta:
Penne Pasta- 1 Cup
Water- 5 Cups
To Make Red Sauce Pasta:
Butter- 1 tbsp
Garlic- 1 tsp chopped
Onion- Half Cup
Red & Green Bell Peppers/ Capsicum- 1 Cup
Tomato Puree- 1 Cup
Pink Salt- 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder- Half tsp
Oregano- Half tsp
Basil- Half tsp
Carom Seeds/Ajwain- 1/4th tsp
Black Pepper Powder- Half tsp
Jaggery Powder- Half tsp
Tomato Sauce- 1/4th cup
Boiled pasta
White Sauce
