If you were offered 100 million dollars, but in order to be paid, you could only eat monomeals of fruit and nothing else for a whole year, would you do it? Each meal could only be one fruit. For example, one meal could be just grapes, another meal could be just watermelon, another meal could be only strawberries, etc. You could also be allowed to eat lettuce if you want, either alone or with a single fruit meal, but that would be the only exception. Nothing could be added to the fruits and lettuce. Would you do that for 1 year for $100 million?

First of all yes to the congee recipe. And secondly that tip of tempering the spices is so helpful.
It's pronounced as kanji and it's from Tamil Nadu in India. It's usually consumed during winters. It's a simple recipe made with rice or any kind of dhal and served with mango or lemon pickle for side. Kanji is made with or without tempering but it tastes good even without tempering. It's simple just with some steamed mushy rice, a cup of water, and some salt to taste. Try the recipe this way with pickle and will taste good for sure😊

Why not mention that this is based on an Indian recipe? You mentioned the tadka style cooking but not that the recipe itself is Indian. And it's pronounced "kun"jee, rhyming with "sun". Very disappointed that you didn't give proper credit or even bother to pronounce any of the words correctly.
I’m a Indian and I have no clue what you are saying could you maybe type it cause I know you are pronouncing it wrong
