Well Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio are the same grape varieties.
The grape Pinot Grigio is called in Italy and Pinot Gris in France.
Pinot Gris and Pinot Grigio have a lot of synonyms. In Slovenia is called Sivi Pinot and in Germany Grauburgunder.
