Gelato Recipe (Italian Cuisine)
ingredients:
500 ml whole milk
250 ml cream
150 g granulated sugar
1 stick of vanilla
5 eggs (separate the yolks)
Preparation:
Place the milk and cream in a small saucepan. Cut the vanilla stick in half and add the seeds inside the stick to the pot.
Heat the milk and cream mixture, when it foams around the edges, remove it from the stove and let it rest for 10 – 15 minutes.
In another bowl, beat the egg yolks and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly add the milk mixture while stirring constantly. Make sure the egg yolks do not curdle.
Pour the entire mixture back into the pot and cook over low heat, continuing to stir. After about 10-12 minutes, when the mixture starts to thicken, remove it from the stove.
Pass the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to obtain a smooth consistency.
After waiting for it to come to room temperature, cool it in the refrigerator for at least 2 (preferably 4) hours. Put the cooled mixture in the freezer. Remove and stir every 20 minutes for 1 hour in the freezer.
Freeze the mixture for at least 4 – 6 hours until it reaches a hard consistency. You can let the gelato sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.

Temperature cool it in the refrigerator for at least two preferably for hours put the cooled mixture in the freezer remove and stir every 20 minutes for 1 hour in the freezer freeze the mixture for at least for to 6 hours until it reaches a hard consistency you can let
The gelato seat at room temperature for a few minutes before serving
