  1. Garum or Liquamen wich is today sold as Colatura di Alici is not an oil! It's simply the liquid that comes out of that fermentation. Max Miller from Cooking History did an episode just a few days about that. More accurate in terms of this legendary condiment the romans where so crazy about. Nice to see, that it is produced till this day.
