Hello fellow pasta enthusiasts! 🇮🇹
I’m working on an exciting animation project for my YouTube channel where I’ll be giving different types of pasta their unique personalities and having them say sentences that match their character, considering stuff like the pasta shape, culture etc.. I’m reaching out to the experts, and that’s you, for some authentic and creative input! 🙂
Here’s an example to give you an idea:
– Macaroni: Personality – [describe]
Sentence – [what Macaroni would say]
I’d love to hear your thoughts on various pasta shapes. Feel free to share your suggestions!
Thank you in advance for your input! 🙂

bonus points if ya include alternate names for some of em + other pastas from around the med;
Orzo is also called Rossini (p sure its the southern italian name)
Ditalini is also called Zibeġ in malta (the ġ is a “j” noise)
Kusksu is a maltese pasta (also in some parts of scicily with other names), its like perl cuscus but 3-4x biger.
And obviously cuscus, found all over the middle east, but for “tying to italy” found in Tunizia, Malta and Scicily.
You could have em as like, “the other friend group” sorta thing, with Orzo and Ditalini floating around both friend groups and their italian friends get shocked when they see em with their other friends calling em by a diff name.
This will probably come off as rude in text, but it seems to me your idea relies on others to do the vital part of the work. It seems you’ve done a little bit of research, but it might be better to continue that and then ask for specific input. There is such a wealth of knowledge here, so I understand why you asked here and the other sub you posted in. Pasta Grannies (the book and the video series) have some wonderful stories about pasta if you haven’t already seen those.
