Camogli is one of the most picturesque and romantic cities in the Golfo Paradiso region of the Riviera di Levante!
The attractive marina, surrounded by the colorful historic structures near the seafront, and the ruins of the medieval castle, are what make the Camogli Citta such a wonderful spot. The gorgeous beachfront promenade was constructed after the promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, and is lined with characteristic restaurants and modest B&Bs.
Even Camogli’s past adds to its allure; in the past, Camogli Italia was a major naval base in the Mediterranean and was dubbed “the city of a thousand white sailing ships.”
In actuality, Camogli Italy was the third Italian power in the Mediterranean around the middle of the nineteenth century and possessed about 700 sailing ships.
Camogli is a fantastic day trip from Genoa or the nearby cities, but it’s also the ideal place to spend a vacation in complete leisure. Here, the time passes peacefully between a day at the beach, a boat ride, and a candlelit dinner with fish and white wine.

One of the major sections of Portofino’s Parco Naturale Regionale and the Portofino Marine Protected Area is Camogli.
