Standing in a very long queue for 20-30 minutes in 30 degrees C or more isn't my idea of fun, no matter how good the pasta is! Al 42 in the Monti area had long queues at lunchtime and even longer in the evenings – didn't get to try their pasta either. This September in Rome is busier than I've ever seen😒. Still worth visiting however!
Thank you Anastaysia! Leaving for Rome, Umbria and Tuscany in 5 short days and reevaluating my clothing in consideration of the weather forecast. I guess I have to ditch my ankle boots, bring only 1 pair of dark jeans and include more summery dresses along with what I had planned as well as sandals. Thoughts, please?!!!!
