I enjoy the bagel with peanut butter and bananas also. Can’t wait to try the lobster in Murano. We never get around to getting room service but might have to try that burger.
I'll be on the Reflection in January. I'll eat mostly in Luminae, since I so enjoyed it on the Apex. However, based on your review, I just booked the Tuscan Grille. I also love lobster, so noted everywhere I need to go! The best burger on the ship is the Luminae burger with the bacon jam, but since I paid attention, I will try the room service burger. One trick I learned on Apex at the Mast Grill was to order it straight off the grill, and medium. For me, that did it!

Even $5 for room service at any time would be better than the $9.95 room service on NCL! Only free continental breakfast room service on NCL!
I have been sailing on Celebrity since 1991. at that time the food was incredible..then it went way down hill around the turn of the century…Blu was on par with the MDR. We decided to stop sailing in Aqua Class. I mean if Blu was not that good why bother, plus they eliminated so many amenities like Fresh Flowers every day, A complimentary canvas tote bag, personalized stationery and a lot more…In fact we stood away from Celebrity for a few years. But then things changed. They still didn't bring back many of the amenities that was once Aqua Class…Then we noticed the prices went sky high…. One day my wife and I decided to book a Edge cruise in Europe to the Greek Isles…and the food did a 360, the food was incredible…in all venues…We now just booked the Reflection leaving out of Barcelona going to France and Italy for 9 days…And here is the kicker…we originally booked a veranda stateroom…But our TA called us and stated 3 days later they are having a flash sale for Aqua Class for your cruise, it will cost you an additional $20 TOTAL to upgrade to Aqua Class…do you want it…I said YESSSSSSSSSSS….NOW IT IS count down time til Sept 2023.

Thanks for this review, you actually made me look forward to trying a muffin for breakfast on this ship. After trying the orange muffin on carnival I proceed with caution lol!! Huge disappointment!

Zach, we were on the same cruise. I must disagree with you on the sushi on 5, that place wasn't up to par. The tonkatsu ramen was horrible. Also, the pastries and desserts on this boat were very dense and just meh. The highlight of this cruise was definitely Cafe de Baccio and the all-around service from the entire crew. Giving the fact that celebrity cost more than most cruises, they need to step up their game in the food arena.
Great video Zach! Regarding the Murano (Solstice), my experience was similar to yours in a few areas. The lobster bisque wasn't as flavorful then expected. It was the same when I had the bisque in the Luminae (we stayed in one of the two Penthouse suites). When it came to the lobster flambe, the side dishes were cold by the time our server plated the lobster. And then when I started eating, I saw a piece of hair in my mash potatoes. At that point, I did not want to try and eat. The head waiter apologized and offered to make another plate but by that time I had lost my appetite. Then the head chef came by and apologized. I handled the situation without getting upset but looked disappointed. So I ended up leaving my dinner party a little early and had my dessert sent to. my suite instead. I was looking forward to this restaurant but unfortunately, it left a bad impression. Our concierge was so sweet that she ensured the rest of our cruise was handled at their high standard. The next day while getting off the elevator with my sister to get a cup of coffee, the head of hotel hospitality approached us (as if he tracked us or something because he saw us coming down in the elevator). He was so kind that he invited us to have coffee with him and chat. I was very impressed and he really appreciated our feedback. I hope that we can experience their larger ships soon and we love Celebrity so we're not giving up on them. 🙂
Zach what's up brother? I love ur videos. Quick question. My wife and I are going on Equinox in October. Our 2nd time on this boat in 5 months. Just watched this video. I heard u say getting discounts at specialty restaurant reservations. Where and when do u suggest to try and do that? Any help would be great. We have never done a specialty restaurant yet. Maurano or Tuscan sounds awesome.

I am Thomas. I have been on 17 cruises. You will never find me on Celebrity again. When You book an inside cabin to save money. On Celebrity our dining experience for the entire cruise was always away from the main dining floor. I enjoy variety. I was told the main floor was for balcony guest and above only. SIT WHERE YOUR TOLD. BE GLAD WE FEED YOU!

I got the nights mixed up for le petit chef and accidentally missed the lobster one. I was so bummed yours looks really delicious 🦞🦞🦞🦞
The trick to avoiding the line in the dining room on lobster night is to order it from room service. Plus then you can wear your casual clothes. In fact if I want stuff from the main dining room I rarely actually go there I just get it from room service. Works for lunch too.
My husband and I have sailed Celebrity twice and have our third scheduled in May 2023. The food has been amazing. We went Aqua for our first Celebrity cruise to Alaska and won our next cruise playing Deal or No Deal on board. We were not permitted to upgrade to Aqua for the second cruise, but were so pleasantly surprised that the MDR food was quite on par with Blu.
This was very informative. I will be sailing on the Equinox in May.
