I had an amazing week on the Italian island of Sardinia, eating my way from town to town. Our last stop was the island’s biggest city and capital, Cagliari. We had an epic lunch at a restaurant called Impasto ( near the port. This was all stuff I love, pizza, pasta and house-made bread. It was accompianed by some great, locally produced wine.
I flew to Sardinia on Air Italy ( in their foodie-friendly Business Class cabin. They have frequent flights to Sardegna from their hub in Milan. They fly direct to Milan from US cities like LA, NYC, Miami and San Francisco (and Toronto).
