  1. How has it held up with seasonal wood movement? And cracking and splitting from summer heat to winter ice and back ?

  2. For everyone who is asking about the type of wood, here is what I am guessing the wood sizes are (after watching the video many times). The "Outside Border Boards" look to be be 2×8 boards, the "Interior boards" look to be 1×8 boards, the frame and bracers are 2x4s, and the legs are 4x4s. I am guessing this is all just pine lumber, but it would be nice to know for sure!

  3. Love the table, but you might consider providing dimensions, measurements and wood type. People watch a video like this for specific, step-by-step advice. You wouldn’t watch a how-to cooking video with no recipe.

  4. Thanks for the excellent plan and how-to. Very well done and mine will be using synthetic boards.

  5. Did you leave a gap between the 1X material?
It’s hard to tell and I don’t think you mentioned it.
I do like your table and I’m going to build mine this week.

  6. Hi Reno!
Could you share the list of tools and items (Epoxy brand, sand paper, sprays, varnish etc) That you used. I'd love to build my own but am starting from scratch. Also, did you use termite resistant varnish?

  7. Love the simplicity of the look, beautiful table. Unfortunately I don’t think my husband would be able to build one he he he.

  8. Okay, dude, I was with you until you started on the legs. You lost me after that. I don’t understand how to can determine the overall height without first mitering both ends of the 4×4 as the height will change based on this. Can you help me understand that part? It’s a great build and exactly what I’m looking for – seating for 8 people. I might have missed it on the video but, what kind of wood did you use and which pocket hole jig (mini?) did you use? Thanks for any help offered!

  9. I love this table. I’m looking to build table this size. Would you be able to share the dimensions and size?
