16:50 Fish Secret To Weight Loss
Best Fish to Eat:
Salmon (wild-caught, Alaskan): Wild-caught Alaskan salmon is an excellent choice. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, low in contaminants, and well-managed for sustainability.
Sardines: Sardines are small, oily fish packed with nutrients and omega-3 fatty acids. They are also low in contaminants and are considered a sustainable choice.
Rainbow Trout: Rainbow trout is a freshwater fish with a good amount of omega-3 fatty acids and is typically low in contaminants. Look for sustainably farmed or wild-caught options.
Arctic Char: Arctic char is a cold-water fish similar to salmon in taste and nutritional profile. It is a good source of omega-3s and is typically farmed sustainably.
Mackerel: Mackerel is a fatty fish that provides a good dose of omega-3 fatty acids. However, some species of mackerel, such as king mackerel, may have higher mercury levels, so it’s best to choose smaller varieties like Atlantic or Pacific mackerel.
Worst Fish to Eat:
Shark: Shark is a predator at the top of the food chain, and it can accumulate high levels of mercury and other contaminants. It is advisable to avoid shark due to its potential health risks.
Swordfish: Similar to shark, swordfish can contain high levels of mercury. It is recommended to limit consumption, especially for vulnerable populations.
Tilefish: Tilefish, especially those from the Gulf of Mexico, can have high mercury levels. Avoiding this fish, particularly for pregnant women and children is generally recommended.
Orange Roughy: Orange roughy is a slow-growing, deep-sea fish that is often overfished and may have higher contaminants. Choosing more sustainable options is advised.

Oh my😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Disagree with previous comments, there's nothing wrong with speech speed or volume.
Mackerel and herring wild caught in tins are good too, I believe. I get the boneless skinless tins including sardines to avoid the yuck factor or I wouldn’t be able to eat them. What about wild caught pink salmon? And what about mercury in tuna? Which are the right tuna to eat? Skip Jack?
Audio quality sucks! Didn’t mention black cod, cod, halibut as best even better & higher fat then Salmon!?
Thx Doc!
You should do another video of just straight up poison fish. 🐡

What about cows? Is there dangerous substances in their milk?
Love this! Best video I've seen on fish! Thank you!
Oh NO!! Lobsters are bottom dwellers! And I LOVE lobster. I have some tails coming today ; )🥳
Also,I avoid shrimps from Florida area. All the hurricanes, and dead bodies in the waters, are now food for the shrimp. Sad, but true.
What about metal plates put in ankles, etc. to repair a break? I recently broke my ankle badly and now have metal screws and plates in my ankle. I am very concerned how these will impact my on-going health. I have been detoxing and doing everything I can to clean up my body from heavy metal toxicity. What do you recommend for these metals now in my body forever?
I thought I heard that it's in the Bible somewhere to not eat bottom dwellers I'll to see if i can find it Thanks Doc
One more thing speaking of heavy metals isn't stratospheric aerosol injections being sprayed into our skies very toxic too
The love the SH''s when he speaks😂….makes me happy for some reason
Did I hear you say tuna was good for you I thought it had a lot of heavy metals in them long life and a big fish ?
What about the toxins they spray over top of us every day with their man-made cloud cover of man facilitated weather modifications that ive been documenting since 2012?
Are there foods that are best to help us detox from toxins we breathe every day ?
Ps. I do live here in Michigan also.
I love your informative channel and I recommend it often.
Thank you so much for all the hard work and knowledge you share on this exceptional channel.
Tuna as a top fish? Maybe my sources were mistaken but I recall them stating just the opposite: it's one to avoid because of how unhealthy it is and harvesting practices.
👣 We really appreciate you, and thanks for watching!

How about cooking with or frying with ghee/clarified butter?
We have really polluted local ponds in our farming community. They are next to the freeway and the junkyards. They tested the ponds & measured the toxins & heavy metals- it was discustingly high..😟
So we had indigenous friends, best buds with my bro & husband. They were always out catching trout in those ponds and cooking them.
They were always sick in their stomachs- and both died waaay too young. I just know those pond fish were part of it.
I love fish- but whenever they offered us part of their catch, I would say " Let's go in the house, I'll cook us up some chicken". Fortunately they always accepted..
Just remember SMASH❤
Sardines
Mackerel
Anchovies
Salmon

I'm from Ann Arbor and love your channel… Many thanks!
I buy canned Mackerel vrs. tuna, and use it in a salad. It's very tasty with lemon and olive oil, chi chi beans and beets.
I have hallux rigidus. I have a small bony bump on my big toe with pain/tenderness.
3 years later the bony bump is larger but pain-free. I have been eating more fish. Any connection?
Great video. I eat salmon several times a week. Absolutely delicious!
Hi Dr. Tom my name is Riley and I’m suffering right now with Morton’s neuroma can you do a video explaining what it is and are there surgical options to remove it and do you take video request
Great information!! 👍
God’s lists of Unclean foods is to protect our health. Ex wolves, carnivores will eat sick animals.
Pigs will eat anything, really nasty. Bats, monkeys- source of viruses.
I try to research where my fish comes from, avoid farmed. I’m sure most restaurants use farmed fish.
And farming destroys the ocean/lake bottoms for miles, it becomes a wasteland.
Thanks!
You forgot Astaxanthin.
👀👍🏾 Wild Caught Salmon My Favorite.
