The 180ft (55m) PAPA is the youngest Amels 180 on the water having been launched by the Dutch shipyard in 2019.

In this walkthrough tour and review of the Amels 180 superyacht PAPA, shot during the Palm Beach Boat Show, Carl Richardson has an all-access pass to this extraordinary yacht.

With exteriors by Tim Heywood and an interior by Laura Sessa, PAPA boasts a five-cabin layout with sleeping space for 10 guests and a crew of 13. The spectacular owner’s suite on the main deck has a study area and private balcony with two further balconies aligned with the salon on the main deck.

Guests are catered for across one king stateroom, two queens and a twin – all of which are ensuite.

On deck, PAPA boasts a large beach club at sea level, a sun deck cinema and a hot tub for 8 guests in a prime position on the sun deck.

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, her full displacement hull will power to a top speed of 14 knots thanks to a pair of 1,308hp MTU diesel engines. With a fuel capacity of 115,000 litres, PAPA will cover 4,500nm at her cruising speed of 13 knots.
