We are 11 days from Christmas, and I thought it would be a good time to make a video of some family we saw this year in Portugal! 🙂 Enjoy! Hope you get some laughter as it’s healthy to laugh, LOTS! 🙂
A video of my funny family in Portugal when we visited them this past Summer (June 28 – July 1, 2019) all the way from Canada! We flew from Canada to Europe through WestJet by landing in Paris, France. Stayed in Paris for 5 days, then we went to Venice, Italy for 8 days, then to Portugal for 5 days, then back to Paris for a day before coming back home to Canada on July 2, 2019 through WestJet! 🙂
Within Europe, we flew through the following European Airlines: EasyJet, Vueling, and Tap Portugal. Our favourite European Airline was Tap Portugal as they provided us a meal on a 3 hour flight from Venice, Italy to Lisbon, Portugal with a connection to Porto, Portugal. My lovely Aunt (that you saw in the video) picked us up at Porto Airport with her friend. 🙂 Thank you, Denise!! 🙂 We stayed with my grandparents in Braga, Portugal. Thank you, Mai and Pai!! 🙂
The city that my Portuguese family lives in called, Braga, Portugal is a cute place, not as many tourists as in Lisbon (Lisboa), but it is much cheaper for food at restaurants because it’s not as touristy! So, that was a bonus! 🙂 There are a few malls to see in and around Braga. Another mall we wanted to see, but didn’t get the chance to go see is located in Guimares, about a 30 minute drive from Braga. The mall is called, GuimarãeShopping! Definitely will go see it next time we are back in Portugal! 🙂 This mall is open until Midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 11PM every other day! Another mall in Braga called, Braga Parque was also open until midnight. Pretty crazy! I love it though!
SHOPPING in Portugal was good! Very affordable compared to Paris that’s for sure. Some spots in Venice, Italy were also affordable but Venice is very touristy, so prices are higher overall.

We moved to Regina 7 years ago from Vancouver and on this channel you will see a lot of videos of the small city life in Regina (with lots of comparisons to Vancouver, aka: VanCity!)! In case you don’t know where Regina, Saskatchewan is, it is a small city within Western Canada. Saskatchewan is the province between Alberta and Manitoba and British Columbia where we are both from is located on the other side of Alberta! 🙂 We also travel sometimes, and will post about our travel adventures just like in this video!
