What do you do when you are burned out from stitching, if that has ever happened to you?

Cornhole is big in Texas. We gave sets to our kids so we could play when we were together. The board was painted with the Texas flag.
That pillow! Stunning! And you get me really excited to look for a vintage sampler to stitch….which I wasn’t going to get involved in. Lol

Love the ornament idea – think I will try that with the fruit basket patterns I just purchased from Annabella's. All of your stitching is so inspiring. All of the finishes are beautiful but that large bee pillow is unreal!! You were busy this week. My sister always said that her house never would have gotten finished if it had not been for your four kids graduation parties LOL

Oh my heart! I haven't gotten past the opening and I'm near tears! HI ARTTIE!! (Waving back!) I had such a WONDERFUL time at the retreat. I cannot believe the friendships that were formed there. Debbie and I are meeting this weekend for our first "stitchy day"! I can't wait! It's so amazing to have a stitchy friend in the area! Thank you for the wave and for the fantastic retreat!! I hope to be back next year as I'll have a new grandson this fall and won't be able to make the next retreat. Now, back to watching the rest of the video! Jenn D

Hi Artie – Love your WIPS – you are making great progress on all of your WIPS….I love them. I love the way you are doing your Ornaments.
When I was little my next door neighbor – a elderly lady who lived right next door to me and my family – she had a Willow Tree in her back yard and me and my brother use to play underneath that Willow Tree and we use to hang onto the limbs of the Willow Tree as we was playing underneath the tree. We loved that tree and we thought as kids that was the neatest tree in the whole neighborhood. She eventually had it cut down and I don't know why she did. I miss that tree and I miss my elderly neighbor lady too.

Happy Thursday Arttie, Wow you were productive with your time this past week. I love Owl Stitching House and do have one of her Fraktur Birds if not two. She rocks as a designer. I always love your videos, Arttie. You have been my favorite since way back when. So glad the retreat went so well but then , why wouldn’t it? You are simply so sweet and have such a passion for life. I have all the owl stitching kitted up for the gingerbread village and I plan to start it in July. Iowan here, so we have our own special made corn hole game pieces too, lol! my hubby would love the crown royal bags (he makes wiskey sours with it) he says hi too 🙂
