We are off to Notting Hill, and our restaurant for today is Core by Clare Smyth.
In 2012 she became Chef Patron at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, making her the first and only female chef to run a three Michelin-starred restaurant in the UK.

There are two tasting menus to choose from The classic Tasting Menu for a £195
and the Core Seasons menu for £215. This makes it one of the most affordable 3 Michelin star restaurants I’ve tried.

  1. Thank you Alexander for showing us all the different foods that most likely we won't be able to experience without you showing us! I was always a bit of a foodie but you turned me into a massive foodie!

  2. Can you go the restaurant De Librije in the Netherlands? It has had 3 stars for almost 20 years and I am curious how you like it!

  3. Really enjoying the channel. I appreciate your lack of pretence but also your experience and insights. Great content.

  4. I'd love to try some of the menus that you try at places but they all seem very heavy on the fish and I'm not a huge lover of fish unfortunately

  5. It's London, the clientele think culture is pizza and imported beer and that Vivaldi is a football player, shorts and flip flops really doesn't surprise me, excellent video

  6. I passed by this restaurant on Monday during a trip to London! Even though it was closed due to the bank holiday, I was shocked to realise that it is actually Clare Smyth's restaurant. And now I have the perfect video to show me what is inside. Thanks so much!

  7. "she grew up on the family farm, but she had bigger dreams…" … bigger than what, growing up on the family farm?

  8. I love these videos. Excellent production quality and a great blend of education, useful info, calm and honest assessment, wonder, and escapism.

  9. It looks amazing, I would feel right at home with the decor setting😍

  10. It costs less than other three star restaurant 's because she uses cheaper ingredients

  11. Strikes me as a remarkable value either way. Most of us don’t rely on 3* Michelin restaurants for subsistence. It’s an experience you are paying for, as well as for the labor, talent, and expertise of people at the absolute pinnacle of their craft and in their field….not to mention the ingredients. You want to quibble and waste energy over a few bucks or who’s cheaper, take your thrifty butts over to Golden Corral. Personally, I wouldn’t let either of you boobs in any of these restaurants. The whole experience would be wasted on you, and time is precious.

  12. It is sad that you even have to address proper attire. People are disgusting today. If they would bother to see how men dressed in the Great Depression standing in soup or employment lines, maybe they would learn something. I doubt it though.

  13. I loved this video but what do you mean affordable? With such title we need some price examples. Nevermind, looks like I found it in the description. I would still recommend putting it in the video.
