For years I’ve been lucky to call the folks at Gio Rana’s Really Really Nice Restaurante my Italian “famiglia”. They’ve always had ready smiles, warm hugs, and of course the really really good food for which they are famous. The coolest shabby-chic bank-turned-restaurant ever.
Gio first invited me to display my large face paintings there more than a decade ago and has kept me on as a provisional artist. It’s a treat for me to know my portraits of friends or family rise and shine there nightly, often mistaken for some film star or famous personality.
