This did not teach? 1st thought pats of butter & peppercorns. Then see water & lemons, then looks crispy? No idea what you're doing?
I won't eat octopi. Squid, yes; octopi, nope! They're too smart.

Low boil for 45 min in water that is salted with peppercorns, bay leaf, and lemons. Then drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, place on hot grill or in pan with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. 3 to 4 minutes a side or until is there is some serious browning.
Remove from heat. Season salt and pepper. Serve! Cooking Italian with Joe Borio.
