This prestigious Tuscan estate for sale is in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, surrounded by the typical Tuscan landscape of old farmhouses, centuries-old olive trees and noble vineyards.

Strategically located on the lush hills between Florence and Siena, a stone’s throw from the small town of Greve in Chianti, this property was born as an ancient country house of a noble Florentine family. A meticulous restoration, by one of the most important architects of Florence – who oversaw the restoration of the ancient decorations and precious period details – has seen it transformed into a luxurious boutique hotel with a restaurant, particularly appreciated by a demanding international clientele.

The beauty of its sophisticated interiors and the perfect preservation of its original distinctive features have allowed it a place of honor in many important international architectural publications, testifying to its glorious timeless atmosphere that can still be breathed here today.

To welcome us we find a large reception hall, reachable by crossing the charming entrance courtyard, flanked by an ancient oil mill and the buildings of the former family chapel.

From here, elegant bar and restaurant rooms lead to a charming outdoor terrace, ideal for pleasant outdoor dining, and beyond, towards the romantic enclosed garden. At the service of the restaurant, there are also modern super-equipped kitchens and pantry rooms, professionally designed also to offer cooking lessons to guests. Spread over all three floors of the house, the twelve bedrooms have all different size and furniture choice.

Among endless expanses of vineyards planted with Chianti Classico, a hectare and a half of its own park surrounds the property in an authentic oasis of peace.

Walking along a short path just outside the fenced garden, still within the property, we can reach a large raised terrace where, in the most panoramic point, a beautiful swimming pool with fantastic views of the surroundings is located.

In the large outdoor area there are two more buildings, the premises for the night watchman and a technical room used as a laundry room and boiler.

An ambitious project approved for an expansion of a further 450 square meters in total provides for the construction of another nine suites and an exclusive wellness center with a spa and indoor swimming pool, crowning this property’s countless comforts.

    It’s beautiful. I stayed there 2 years ago for a few days. Went with the Vespa from Florence. It’s magical and they had a fantastic kitchen. I wonder if they still use it as a hotel.
