Most of the time the tourist stuff is that it's expensive and they try to get you to go there rather then going to somewhere else cheaper and better in taste
Tourist restaurants are always the worst choice. In Italy and everywhere in the world. And if you see photos of the food on the menu (or on a big poster), avoid these restaurants at all cost, because it will be really bad food.
