If you’re thinking of visiting the Cinque Terre Italy in the off-season, such as October, November or in December, you’ll be interested in this travel guide. We got a taste of the Cinque Terre in fall / winter weather (November) when we visited Riomaggiore, Manarola, and a couple others. There was no hiking, all trails are closed in winter, and the food options were a bit more limited due to slow business.
Still, it was not crowded at all, and the sun did end up coming out even though it was the rainy season.
