This Italian cheese steak sandwich on the griddle was one of the best griddle sandwich recipes that I’ve made in a while… Like a regular griddle cheesesteak sandwich, except with marinara sauce, pepperoni, salami, and banana peppers. This Italian style cheese steak will be one of your new favorite griddle recipes to make on the Blackstone, Weber Griddle or other flat top grill!

If you can make a Philly cheesesteak on the griddle, then you can make this awesome Italian cheesesteak with ribeye, diced onions, provolone cheese and a few Italian ingredients. We cooked pancakes on the Eseries Blackstone for our church sunrise breakfast for Easter this morning, then came home and made Chicken Kabobs with our daughter on the 36- inch Blackstone.   12. Definitely a fine looking sandwich. I worked at a couple of pizza shops in North East MD in the late 80's early 90's and provolone was the go to for cheesesteaks, both shops later offered american cheese as an alternative but provolone was #1. As employees we were free to make our own food, lots of us added pepperoni or salami maybe even sausage to our steak sandwiches and we also made chopped ham sandwiches just like steaks but with ham, definitely a killer sandwich.

  15. Ha! I'd been dozing while watching videos. This one came up and in my twilight zone, I read, "Italian Chinese Steak on the Griddle." I thought, "This will be interesting". Turns out better than I expected, even though it didn't have any Chinese cooking in it. 🤣🤣🤣 That's a killer sandwich.

  17. That was an awesome idea and looks terrific. On another note and please don't take this as negative or offensive because that is not the intent. A few shows ago you said you were using tallow just to get rid of it because it added no flavor. But today you took the rib fat and rendered it which is now tallow. You should try making your own, I use the fat from a brisket and put it in the smoker at 250 usually with cherry or apple and just let it go. As it renders out filter it through some cheesecloth into a mason jar and store it in the fridge. It last a long time and then you get that little bit of smokiness flavor infused into that oil. My apologies if this is long winded.
