I set sail on the Celebrity Apex in Rome, Italy (Civitavecchia) for a 12-night cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean. This was my second time on Celebrity Apex, which was my first cruise with Celebrity Cruises back in 2021. Was there in 2016, Ephesus first, then the House of the Virgin Mary. Both were beyond our expectations and would like to return. Our guide was amazing.

Loved visiting Ephesusβ¦.Kusadasiβ¦I was amazed back in the 80s and they are still, uncovering so much more. But when you scanned the toilet seats it really brought back memories and My amazement of the system they had way back when. Thx for taking me backπ’π

Beautiful, and loved the music you used! Some authorities hold that the ever-Virgin Mary returned to Jerusalem before she completed the course of her earthly life at the age 72, while others, equally strong in arguments, say she remained in Ephesus to the end.

I really enjoyed this video. It's amazing to see where the Bible took place. I never knew Mary lived in Turkey. That was so cool to see her house. I don't mind the voice overs they're just as good.
We enjoyed some great smoothies at the Spa Cafe. Add a bagel and it's breakfast! We often ate breakfast in Luminae (because we could!), but also found the main dining room quick, efficient, and excellent.
