  1. It's quite funny. For the guy who drank around 2k wines from Italy a year, James Suckling should clearly recognize the apelations. Especially there were Barolo and Chianti.

  2. I went to visit Ascheri (wine #1) and tasted all his Barolos and eat at his restaurant in his hotel. Go visit in Bra, it's right next to the train station. Super high value food for money! Dolcetto also makes good wine, if I only could drink one region it would be Piedmont

  3. it's funny how acclaimed james sucking is, but theres no way he would pass master som without being able to distinguish these appellations…

  4. James Suckling really doesn’t seem that knowledgeable. I will no longer trust his points since they seem arbitrary and dilettante to be honest. I drink maybe 1/1000 of the wine he does, but still I would be able to recognize wines better than him. Weird, really.

  5. Suckling is such a massive hack. No clue, just spewing out random adjectives hoping to hit something.

  6. He is a magnificent actor who has understood the secret of life, he understands little about wine but he is undoubtedly a great actor with a huge following of stupendous incompetents
