Michelin-starred chef Mauro Elli, owner of “Il Cantuccio” in Albavilla, has entrusted Porada with the entire project of upgrading his historic dining room, the grand fireplace room, as evidence of the human and professional relationship that binds these two excellences of the Brianza area.
The concept of this project is to welcome guests in a distinctive and comfortable space, further enhancing the gastronomic offer. Food is at the centre of the experience, though the décor adds a layer of depth that truly ties the space together, making the experience at “Il Cantuccio” unforgettably unique. Practicality, precision and linearity are the common threads that characterize the dishes as well as the pieces of furniture, in a playful harmony of shapes, colours and textures.
Whilst keeping the historic character of the place alive, from the large fireplace to the detailed stonework, Porada Design Team has outlined a contemporary and cosy ambience, focusing on grey hues for both textiles and wood, relying on ash to let all its playful and natural veins shine through. The smaller adjoining room, ever so elegant, flaunts the iconic Infinity table, the unmistakable Porada signature design.
