I am a great fan Ascendance of a Bookworm anime which was based on a set of light novels by Miya Kazuki. I’ve watched it over and over again and after reading the currently-published light novels and the completed web novel, I spotted a few differences between them and the anime–mostly in the stuff that was left out. These things don’t detract from the story, but they make the AOAB world much more interesting (at least in my opinion).
If you’re new to the anime’s fandom, never read the source material, and you’ve wondered what you missed out on–rejoice! I am here to show you just that and hopefully you will feel like checking out the original source (either the web novel or the light novel).
