Chef Gavin Gan is the 37-year-old Head Chef of Amò, the smart-casual Italian social destination on Hong Kong Street.
After eight years cutting his teeth across the ilLido Group’s collection of Italian restaurants, Chef Gan has found his home at Amò, where he has been working alongside Restaurateur-Chef Beppe De Vito since the restaurant’s opening in 2017.
Over the last five years at Amò, he has collaborated with top chefs such as Michelin Japanese chef Kotaro Noda and counts Chef Nancy Silverton as one of the special guests he has had the privilege of serving.
