RECIPE:

Simple and Delicious Cast Iron Boneless Ribeye: Tommy’s Way

Salt each side of the Ribeye with kosher salt and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before you’re ready to cook.

Heat a cast iron skillet to medium high heat. It’s going to get a little smokey in the house, but it’s imperative that you do it this way!

When pan has reached optimal heat, take a stick of butter, cold from the refrigerator. Peel it down like a banana and press it down on the pan to generously covering with melted butter.

Place your steak(s) on the pan and set your timer for 3 MINUTES, after 3 minutes and not a second longer. Flip it over and give it another 3 minutes, pull them off, let them set on a wire rack. (Medium rare)
