– R E C I P E S –

#1 BAKKWA DIP

Ingredients
– 1 piece of Bee Cheng Hiang BakKwa (sliced)
– 5 tbs of Tobiko Fish Roe
– 5 tbs of Chilli Mayo
– 1 tbs of Regular Mayo
– Optional Garnish e.g. Chives (finely sliced)

Steps
1. Mix Tobiko Fish Roe, Chili Mayo and Regular Mayo together and stir.
2. Garnish sauce with finely sliced Chives.
3. Serve with Bak Kwa strips on the side.

#2 BAKKWA SANDWICH

Ingredients
– 1 piece of Bee Cheng Hiang BakKwa (whole)
– 2 Eggs
– 2 slices of Bread
– 1 tbs of Butter
– 1 tbs of Chilli Mayo/Sauce of Choice
– Optional Garnish e.g. Tomato (sliced) & Lettuce

Steps
1. Beat Eggs, season with salt & pepper and make an omelette.
2. Melt Butter in pan and lightly toast 2 slices of Bread.
3. Sandwich Lettuce, sliced Tomatoes, Bak Kwa, Omelette, Chili Mayo between the toasted Bread
4. Cut into half to serve or have it whole!

#3 BAKKWA CARBONARA

Ingredients
– 1 piece of Bee Cheng Hiang Bak Kwa (diced)
– 100g of Spaghetti
– 150g of Carbonara Sauce
– 2 cloves of Garlic (finely sliced)
– Β½ tbs of Olive Oil
– Optional Garnish e.g. Parmesan Cheese (grated) & Chives (finely sliced)

Steps
1. Boil Spaghetti in salted water for 8-9 minutes
2. Drain and reserve Β½ cup of ‘pasta water’ from the cooking of Spaghetti
3. SautΓ© sliced Garlic and Β½ of the diced Bak Kwa in Olive Oil over low heat
4. Add cooked Spaghetti, Carbonara Sauce, reserved pasta β€œpasta water” and simmer till sauce thickens.
5. Plate and garnish with remaining diced Bak Kwa, grated Parmesan Cheese and finely sliced Chives.
