Discover the highlights of our tour of the Piedmont region in Spring departing May 2022. We arrive in beautiful royal Turin where we visit local markets, taste cheese and admire the passing foot traffic from an historic cafe.
After a short time in Turin savoring its cheese and chocolate – the city is known for a decadent chocolate drink – bicerin, we head to the hills and the wine region of Le Langhe. Famous for Barolo – the ‘King of Italian Wines’ – we also go hunting for truffles in the surrounding wooded hills.
Wining and dining is the theme of our trip, with abundant opportunities to taste and compare dishes and drops as well as learn and take home a new recipe – a local pasta dish to impress your friends. And of course we’ll explore some of the prettiest villages in all of Italy.
