Chicken beef pasta bake
ingredients
red onion
bell pepper
carrot garlic
chicken mince
Mexican style spice mix
finely chopped tomatoes
red wine stock paste
water for the sauce
penne pasta
bread crumbs
grated Italian style cheese
Let’s get started
โขBring a large saucepan of water to the boil with half tablespoon of salt for the pasta
โขhalf peel and chop the red onion into small pieces
โขhalve the pepper and discard the core and seeds chop into 3cm chunks
โขcoarsely grate the carrot And grate the garlic
โขHeat a drizzle of oil in a large frying pan on medium high heat when’s hot at the chicken mince and cook until browned, 4 – 5 minutes. break it up with the spoon as it cooks .
โขonce Brown add Onion, carrot and pepper to the pan and continue to cook until the veggies are slightly soften 5-minutes
โขstir in the garlic and Mexican style spice mix. Add less if you don’t like too much heat
โขcook stirring for 1-minute add the chopped tomatoes, red wine stock paste( skip if u don’t have) and water for the sauce ,season with salt and pepper
โขmeanwhile add breadcrumbs to the small bowel with the heart Italian style cheese and a drizzle of oil season with salt and pepper and mix well now
โขonce the pasta is cooked drain in a colander and add to the chicken sauce
โขmixed together then transferred to a ovenproof baking dish and sprinkle over the cheesy breadcrumbs
โขbake on the top shelf of your oven until the top is Golden Brown 8 to 10 minutes
โขonce ready leave the pasta bake to stand for a couple of minutes before serving the divide between your bowls
