This is my version of the Italian-American restaurant classic. The chicken cutlets and mushrooms are bathed in a rich Marsala wine sauce. The ingredients I used are listed below. Thank you for watching.

Chicken Marsala Dinner
1 1/2 Lbs. chicken breasts, sliced horizontally in half and pounded to 1/4-inch thickness
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
Grinds of black pepper
4 tablespoons butter, divided
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup diced onion
2 teaspoons garlic paste (or, use 2 diced cloves of garlic)
3/4 cup chicken stock
3/4 cup dry Marsala wine
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon dry Italian seasoning
Garnish: fresh, chopped parsley
For serving: mashed potatoes and baby spinach leaves
