VISIT ALBA INTERNATIONAL WHITE TRUFFLE FAIR 2021
THE 91st edition of the Alba International White Truffle Fair has been extended this year until 5th of December 2021.
It is incredibly popular this year, each weekend crowds of people throng to the event, booking is needed in advance with staggered entry times and strict Covid-19 safety measures are enforced.
Most visitors are from Italy, everyone is happy to go to an event after a long lockdown period, with only a sprinkling of foreigners present.
As with last year’s fair which closed early, the event is held in the Cortile Della Maddalena under non-enclosed and spacious pavilions in the courtyard.
Loads of truffles, both white and black, this has been a good year, although prices seem to be up from last year. Lots of other booths selling truffle and mushroom related foodstuffs and local Barolo and Barbaresco wines,
