If you’re still in the celebratory mood post-New Year’s Eve, this Lamberti is a sparkling out of Italy for a great value. It’s made with Prosecco grapes and as you may expect, very refreshing. Hints of lemon and apple as well. And sparklings pair with almost anything!
Pinot Grigios are always a wise choice in my opinion. The Santa Martina we selected is a clean, semi-dry wine with flavors of apple and pear. Try pairing it with chicken alfredo or shell fish.
Lastly, this Pull Merlot from the Broken Earth Winery. The film Sideways may have given this varietal a bad wrap, but I stand behind this medium-bodied offering. It has a nice smoky, cherry taste…I’m a big fan of it as a steak wine. You could also give it a go with Chicken Parmesan or some nice lamb!
