Metro Detroit is home to an endless number of great restaurants to check out. I head out to three random restaurants scattered around the metro area in this restaurant tour to enjoy some amazing food.
1. Taza Fresh Grill – Located in Southgate, Michigan, Taza Fresh Grill is home to some very authentic Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. I get to enjoy some chicken shawarma along with some rice, hummus, bread, and some salad.
2. Bar Verona – Located in Commerce Township, Michigan, Bar Verona is a great option for some delicious Italian cuisine. I join up with my good friends Rachael and Will to enjoy some great Italian food as well as some dessert to celebrate my birthday (and Rachael’s birthday a couple weeks after mine).
3. City Burger – Located in Sterling Heights and Warren, Michigan, City Burger is a great counter-serve restaurant home to some great burgers and sandwiches. I head to the Sterling Heights location to try one of their chicken shawarma sandwiches. Notice how much I love shawarma?
