Lasagne Recipe
Group 1:
Ground beef 1/2 kg
Onion finely chopped 1 medium
Garlic 2 cloves
Group 2:
Tomato paste- I large can
Pasta sauce – I jar
(Make your own if none available.)
Water 1/2 cup
Group 3:
Fresh parsley -1 cup
Basil -1/4 cup
Italian seasoning – 2 tsp
Salt – 1 Tbsp
Black Pepper – 1 Tbsp
Crushed red pepper(opt)
Group 4:
Ricotta cheese – 2 cups
Salt – 1 tsp
Egg – 1
Group 5:
Mozzarella cheese slices
Fresh Parmesan
Parmesan pdr for topping
Three cheese mix
Sauté group 1, add group 2 &3, let simmer for 1/2 an hour.
Boil lasagne noodles as per instructions, pour cold water and set aside.
Mix group 4 together.
Layer 1- meat sauce
Layer 2- pasta noodles
Layer 3- ricotta mixture
Layer 4- cheese slices and shredded cheese
Repeat
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Remove foil, bake 20 minutes.
Broil 5 minutes.
