Today Toni and I took off on the first day of our road trip to Portland, Or. Our first stop was Kingman AZ. Its claim to fame is a good section of Route 66 and home to the Route 66 museum (we did not know that until it was too late). We did however to into a few antique stores (see names and reviews below), Have Italian for dinner (also review below), and visited a quilt shop. I almost forgot-we talked and videoed a bit of scenery and desert plants!

Time Was Antiques-Closed before we found it but looked good through the windows! They closed at 4pm!

Gracie’s Vintage: it was OK-lots of vintage clothing and records. It stayed open until 6pm!

Vagabond’s Antiques and Treasures: lots of figurines and small ceramic and glassware. Also some jewelry and clothing (most of the video was from here)

Next door is the Animal Shelter shop-they had a mix of vintage goods. I found the old magazines here. very nice volunteer!

The Farmhouse-cute fixed up furniture (sewing machine table was here).

Donna’s Quilt Shop: lots of interesting fabric and goods. If you can find a webpage she seems to have great prices too!
