We went to this region to try our hand at via ferrata! LOVED IT. Especially refreshing to be next to the waterfalls and bridge too!

Val Noana

We travelled over to Val Noana to try canyoning for the first time! This was my favourite activity of the trip and I was genuinely sad when it ended. We jumped off, slid down the canyons, went for a freezing cold dip and HAD SO MUCH FUN. MORE MORE MOREEEEEEE.

A great family-run spot for mountain food after canyoning! I loved the canederli in broth and the steaks were HUUUUGEEEEEEE.

Mezzano

SUCH A CHARMING VILLAGE. Though I couldn’t communicate with the locals properly, we were able to chat with lots of smiles and hand gestures. Met two elderly gentlemen who encouraged my sister and I to go for a walk around the village to see all the art… WHICH ARE ALL MASTERPIECES. I have so much love for this beautiful place!

Worth the hike up to stay at Roda di Vael (mountain hut) overnight. The views are brilliant, the family that runs it are super sweet and it’s a great spot to wake up to see the sun rise over the mountains! So special.
