The Castel Monastero Resort is a thousand-year-old castle located near Siena in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. This resort is a member of the leading hotels of the world. The luxurious rustic decor is absolutely charming. You feel like you’re transported back to the medieval times but with modern-day 5-star convenience and comfort. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome.
We had a prestige room which comes with a small lounge area. The rooms are elegantly designed and quite spacious.
Castel Monastero Resort has 2 restaurants on the property – Contrada and La Cantina and they are both excellent.
The property has a pool area with 3 pools and a gym.
There is also a spa on the resort and is literally the best spa I have ever been to. This spa is equipped with an elegant steam room and sauna. There is also a beautifully designed extra-large jacuzzi. My favorite part of the spa was the salt pool.
Our stay at the Castel Monastero Resort was incredible and highly highly recommend staying there if you plan to visit Tuscany.
