In this episode of In The Kitchen With Matt, I will show you how to make Italian bread from scratch. This basic easy homemade Italian bread recipe only requires 6 everyday ingredients. It is one of my favorite homemade bread recipes to make. What is the difference between Italian bread and French bread? Italian bread often contains a bit of milk or olive oil, and sometimes a tiny bit of sugar. French bread tends to be hard and crusty on the outside and light and soft on the insides. Italian bread may have a hard crust but tends to be a little denser. Perfect for serving with pasta!
