Our Murano glass fruit is handmade, blown glass from the island of Murano. It starts with colored glass cane and is then manipulated over a torch; heating, stretching and then blowing into the molten glass to shape. Just before it is fired in a furnace, 18k gold foil is applied giving it a regal and gilded effect.
Our Italian fruit collection includes oranges, apples, lemons, limes, grapes, plums, pineapples and pears. Each stunning piece is hand crafted by master artisans on the Island of Murano. Collect them all for a colorful and rich fruit basket that will impress the most discerning guests.
My Italian Decor is about Italian artisan products. We work with artisans who have been perfecting their art for generations. From the Murano glass artists to the Florentine ceramists and wood worker to the painters throughout Veneto that hand paint all the wine and champagne glasses, bowls, vases and other tableware. We love the uniqueness of each piece—they may seem to be the same but each has it’s own personality that is breathed into them by the artist. Italians have forever been known for their sense of style and color and we endeavor to bring The Colors of Italy home to you.
