Hi and welcome to Vlogmas Days 14 & 15!
In this vlog my nonna (grandma) gives us some of the Italian, or really Pugliese, Christmas pastries called Cartellate. They are also known as Crispelle in other towns. They are essentially thinly rolled and fried pastry dough, which is then coated in honey and nuts, or vincotto. You can even dust these with powdered sugar. I face-time my dad so that he can explain them to you all as well. My dad is not in enough of my vlogs for covid-safety reasons, so I was happy to have him in. I also cook some pesto pasta with shrimps and zucchini, as well as open my chocolate advent calendars. We even quickly visit my mom and sister as well. I also give Luna her doggy advent calendar as well as her favourite doggy treats which are these sweet potato all natural doggy treats that you can find on amazon.
