This is an Italian sausage bake I just made up one day when I was searching the pantry for ideas. It was a huge hit in our family and I hope you’ll enjoy it in yours!

It’s very versatile and can be served on pasta, as a sandwich like I did, ontop of veggies, and it can be served with a variety of Italian sauces. You can also melt Mozzerella or Provolone cheese on the sandwich before adding any additional sauces.

Here I make an Alfredo sauce (which is more a Romano Cheese Bechamel) but I will be showing how to make it and my classic Alfredo sauce in future videos. For now, please enjoy!

italian sausage links mild or hot (can also use ground sausage if desired)
green pepper, diced,
red pepper, diced
orange pepper
yellow pepper…..all roughly chopped
1 small yellow onion, roughly chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 T Italian herbs
1/2 tsp fennel seed
Crushed red pepper, to taste
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c Marsala wine or more or less to taste (can use white wine if preferred)
1/2 cup of Chicken broth
1-2 russet potato, diced
