These are my current FAVORITE salad dressings–made from scratch! Today I’m sharing a simple Balsamic Vinaigrette and a flavorful Creamy Italian Dressing. Making your own salad dressing at home is so easy, cost effective, and totally customizable. Hope you love these recipes!
Balsamic Vinaigrette
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
2 tsp. honey
1 garlic clove, minced
salt & pepper to taste
Whisk all ingredients together and season to taste with salt & pepper. ENJOY!
Creamy Italian Dressing
(adapted from www.plainchicken.com)
1/2 c. mayo
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch of pepper
Whisk all ingredients together. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving so flavors can marry. ENJOY!
