We have always loved these dishes at friends’ homes. This is our first time owning them. We bought two sets for 8 persons and I just added one to complete sets for 12. Really beautiful and easy. Dishwasher and microwave friendly.
I love this China it is so beautiful and my china cabinet. My husband has wanted this pattern because his mother had it and it had sentimental value to him. As you can see it is gorgeous got to love it.
This set is gorgeous. They came well packaged and nothing was broken. There is not one piece that says “made in China”. They are authentic. I am very pleased with this purchase. The cups are beautiful pieces to add to your collection.
Wonderful dishes!!! You will be very happy with them. I had a German set that I bought while I was living there. These have the same type decorations on them with the paintings. Everyone loves them! I’ll be buying more in the future.
Im so happy with these dishes! I ordered two other sets of dishes and returned them before I purchased these.
One set of heavy hand-painted style dishes chipped within weeks of purchasing and the second set turned out to be the same kind of “pottery” style dish.
These, by contrast, are a quality dish. The dishes I received, as well as the additional bowls, are made in England. The color is beautiful and rich .
A cake plate I purchased separately is lovely but the color is not as bright. Its made in China.
I was looking for a set of blue and white dishes for everyday, and these are so beautiful, and practical (dishwasher and microwave safe). The cups looked just like the photo and make my morning coffee even more enjoyable.
I will be adding more pieces over time.
Spode Blue Italian has been a favourite pattern since my childhood because my parents collected it, and it appeared on our table only on very special occasions, such as birthdays and Christmas.
I inherited my mother’s Blue Italian when she died, and I greatly appreciate her set, but I needed to enlarge it to 12 place settings.
Blue Italian is an old pattern—it celebrated its 200th year in 2016—and it has had subtle changes since it first appeared, although the basic pattern has never changed.
My new 12-piece set is as lovely as my mother’s older pieces (purchased in the 1930s). The main difference between her pieces and mine is the thickness of the china—hers were somewhat thinner.
