We’re certain you won’t be after visiting The Orginal Gonella’s, a fixture for more than 75 years at 295 Oakwood Blvd. in Southwest Detroit. It’s known for its hearty Italian sub sandwiches, a big favorite among workers at lunchtime.
Detroit Digest hosts Kyle Sammy and Carlos Parisi of Deadline TV stopped by the sandwich and market the other day to bite into some monster, multi-layer Italian subs. Parisi has been going there since he was kid.
